Many Moniepoint agents offering banking services to communities are finding it difficult to purchase data for customers on their POS terminals. But I have come with a solution to this problem.
In this article, I will explain to you how to buy data on your Moniepoint POS and alternate method to use if “Buy Data” option is not available on your POS Machine.
To buy data on Moniepoint POS:
- Press any button on your POS device to unlock the terminal.
- Open the Moniepoint POS app and click “top up”.
- Under the “top up” page, look for “Buy Data” or “Purchase Data” and click on it.
- Choose the customer service provider and click proceed.
- Enter destination phone number and select data plan.
- Confirm the transaction with your Moniepoint Authorized Code and the recipient will receive data within minute.
If the “Buy Data” option is not available on your Moniepoint POS App, you can update the POS to latest version through the POS App Market.
Alternatively, you can purchase data for customers on your POS business account app. To do just that;
- Login to your Moniepoint Business Banking App.
- Click “Top-up” and select “Buy Data”.
- Select the recipient service provider and select data plan.
- Enter your transaction PIN to complete the order.
